Joe Biden and Democracy

The Democrats vow repeatedly that they will protect democracy from the Republicans.

Meanwhile Democrats have engaged in one of the greatest conspiracies against democracy ever seen.

The rights of citizens to full and true information in the election process has been obscured by a cover-up of Joe Biden’s issues with dementia – let’s call it what it is.

The Democrat’s strategy has been to drag Joe Biden over the election finish line as the only candidate with a chance of winning against Donald Trump.   A vote for Joe Biden is a vote for Kamala Harris according to this plan.  After election, Harris would soon take office with no election mandate from voters who have the right to know who they are electing.

Joe Biden’s actual condition was exposed by the debate, and the Democratic Party is in a hot mess.   They have no ready back-up plan or leader who can step up and take charge.

The media, particularly CNN and MSNBC, are expressing faux shock about the situation to distance themselves from a plan in which they were complicit.

If you are still in doubt about Joe Biden and dementia, let me speak personally about my experience with family and friends who acquired this disease.  I had responsibility for the care of my Mother with dementia, and I have deeply researched the subject.  You don’t need to be a Doctor to observe the symptoms.

The onset of dementia typically occurs any time after age 65.   Here, I share the experience of my Mother and some interesting parallels to Joe Biden’s condition.  I will summarize this over a three-year period:

YEAR ONE – Progressive issues

Early - Loss of words, names, and train of thought in conversations.

Mid - Loss of short-term memory and inability to find things of everyday use.

Mid - Non-recognition of streets and neighborhood she had lived in for 50 years.

Mid - Refused to take a doctor’s competency test.  Biden has done this.

Late - Still living independently with assistance from family.

Late - Still reasonably alert, but cognition is compromised.

YEAR TWO

Early - Further decrease in cognition and ability to manage daily maintenance, such as

           meals.

Early - No longer independent.  Moved to my home over her strong objections.

Mid - Delusions of conversations with people, real or imagined.  Biden has done this.

Mid - Displayed mix of stubbornness, defiance, and anger.  Biden is doing this now.

Mid - Curious ability to read quite well which she did out loud reading books or streaming

news banners on television with no real cognition or memory of what she was saying.

Biden can still read a teleprompter, but lacks mental agility in unscripted situations.

Late - Stair-stepped down rapidly in cognition.  Stopped reading.  Looked at TV shows.

Late - Night roaming and random acts.  Became a danger to herself and family.

YEAR THREE

Early – Moved to full-time professional care in a Mental Care Unit.

Early – Memory loss of names and relationships of family.

Mid – Unable to recognize family. Unresponsive mental state.

Late – Passed away from “failure to thrive.”

From the above experience, I view President Biden in the mid-stages of dementia.  He is certainly not able to act with authority and independence in office.

The use of Biden the person by some cadre of Democratic leaders and family is an abuse of the man and the stress can only exacerbate his disease.  That is inhumane.

From my experience, Joe Biden could take a turn for the worse at any time.  What the Democratic Party will do about the election situation is unknown.  There is no obvious solution.

Voters should just know that if they vote for Joe Biden, his time in office will likely be very limited.  That means Kamala Harris will be President, if that is acceptable to you.

A Bigger Threat

The issue presents a bigger current crisis than election politics.

Now having a President with diminished capacity in office is a serious risk to national security.

Who will be in charge in the event of a national or international crisis?  No one knows.

Who will control the nuclear codes?  No one knows.

The Constitution did not contemplate this exact situation. Here is what the 25th Amendment provides”

“If the Vice President and a majority of the principal officers of the executive departments (or another body as Congress may provide) declare in writing to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of the office, the Vice President immediately assumes the role of Acting President.”

In the current circumstances, it seems unlikely that Vice President make a declaration since she appears to be a part of the plan that would put her inn office after the election.

This is an untenable situation for the U.S.

We can look at the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution for basic principles that leaders should use a guide to their actions:

Meanwhile, Democrats and Republicans dither while the ship is without a captain.
