Elitism & Politics

Many people believe they have a superior view of social agendas which they seek to impose by Federal mandates and Lawsuits.

This is the definition of Elitism backed by raw political power at leadership levels.  It is enabled by big money donors who set the agendas.

The majority of American Citizens do not agree with these impositions.

It is the antithesis of Democracy which Elitists claim to protect.

The exercise of power has led to major divisions in politics and society.  The use of Major Media has played a role in these divisions.  They have become propaganda engines for the Parties.

A steady diet of MSNBC and CNN has created a hard core of the public with misinformed views.  Fox News is obviously the “conservative” network, but their views are also imbalanced.

Extremist Views seem to rule the agenda and attention of the politicians and the public.

It seems the tide is turning.  In the 2024 election there were 7 Million fewer Democrat votes than in 2020.  They chose not to vote rather than support the current regime.

Republicans even gained support from minorities.

MSNBC and CNN have seen drops in viewership, and will likely see changes in ownership and management.

The Media problem is approaching self-correction.  People are turning  from Major Media to alternatives on the Internet and Podcasts (like Joe Rogan).

The new Trump Administration is setting up for major revisions in management of Federal Government.

It is time to reset the role of Federal Government.

Cogport supports the founding concept of limited Federal Government.

Social mandates are not part of Federal authority.  We have a Constitution based on freedom of the individual, and that is the primary directive.  Not top-down mandates on social organization.
